There are three cascades, and access to them is a hike from the road that takes over an hour.

A viewing trail follows the length of the falls and then continues into the Krimml River Valley, a stunning high valley of alpine grassland. It is one of the most beautiful areas of the Hohe Tauern National-Park and it terminates at the Krimml Glacier.
